Methodology & notes

National figures are the mean across 12 governorate markets. The source's own “National Average” series ended in Dec 2016 and is not used.
Olive oil changed reporting unit from KG to litres in mid-2016; only the litre series (2016+) is shown.
A petrol price for Feb 2018 showing a 3x one-month spike that fully reverses in March is treated as a source recording error and excluded from all charts.
Zaatari and Azraq camp markets appear in the source's market list but contain no price records in this dataset.
